Here you will find a community that provides an incredible ecosystem of support for students. Our faculty, staff, coaches, and your fellow students go out of their way to look out for you and to partner with you in whatever path you pursue.
You will also be able to engage in an innovative general education curriculum that we call Connections, which includes an opportunity to work with faculty off-campus for an entire week every spring semester. We call the experience FIRE Week, as it provides a chance for students to discover, explore, and find their light through a range of exciting learning options.
Additionally, you will have access to multiple study abroad programs with the most popular being in Costa Rica, Wittenberg, Germany, and now Cape Town, South Africa. Service-learning opportunities also abound, along with a competitive athletics environment.
One thing you will also hear a lot about on our campus is our motto: "Having Light We Pass It On To Others." These eight words have inspired alumni and our campus for generations as they call on us to go beyond the comfortable and into what matters.
