We met by chance on our way to Kuss Science Center for class. Unbeknownst to us we shared many mutual friends & the amazing Co-Advisor team of James Welch (JW) & Kathleen Reinsel (KR). It wasn't though until we joined CBS for the March for Social Action (2003) in Washington, D.C. that we became inseparable! We married in Sept. 2008 & two kiddos later (Jacob-11 & Caleb-9), we are happily celebrating 15 years of marriage and counting!!!
We currently live in North Carolina, where I have continued my work in Clinical Operations & Project Management, primarily focusing on Oncology Clinical Trial Research. While Carl has excitingly accepted an appointment as U.S. Head of Onshore Permitting for a Global Renewable Energy Company. We humbly recognize our success together is directly contributed to our faith, family and fortitude gained collective through our Wittenberg experiences, including within our Fraternity & Sorority (Alpha Phi Alpha and Delta Sigma Theta).
Without the synergy of all three we would have never begun this life journey together. Go Witt, Go Tigers!!!
